Tom Moore wanted to raise £1000 for the NHS by walking up and down his garden 100 times before his 100th birthday. He was reported on BBC Breakfast and he raised £1 million. By20 April he raised over £20 million and received at least 160000 cards. The Queen sent a birthday telegram.
